Some people say they don’t understand abstracts. Well, maybe we shouldn’t try to understand them but to see!!!! look!!!! feel!!! I love abstracts,
because everyone sees things differently! What do I feel when I see an abstract? good feelings? Imagination, love it, hate it, cool colors, movement, shapes, textures , visions within visions.
What do you see; look and let your mind wander. Have you ever really looked at an abstract and allowed all the small pictures within pictures to draw you in.
Next when you see an Artists abstract… see what you can find in there…I do all the time.. to me they are fun and interesting.
Abstracts are a great teaching tool for teachers, psychologists and parents alike to help young children explore their imagination. It helps them process in their sweet little minds the concept of opening their minds to their surrounding and also to appreciate art whether is be traditional, cubism, abstract, a Van Gogh, Monet, Picassa, newest artists coming up..I wrote and had a video on 50 most famous paintings. My husband sees an upside down flower and a hand ..I didn’t even look at it like it was a hand and I saw a leaf..so you see everyone sees things differently , of course we all know that.
