When Your Time Comes

I was working on this painting for quite sometime..It was my thoughts that this might be how it may happen when we die.,Being a Catholic..I am not sure how other people and Religions look feel or wonder what will happen to them WHEN THE TIME COMES!!
This painting happens to be a young woman and her family looking at her going to heaven, as God reaches out to help her, But this painting now is a dad and even though it is a woman in this image..it is now my children looking up watching their dad go to heaven

This dear Man was my Childrens father and my first love -he passed away 01-24-2010

My Daughters were having a birthday party for him. When he wasn’t arriving they went to see why.
They found him in his bed, thinking he was asleep..so sadly he wasn’t he had passed away..
I Dedicate this to my very dear friend and my children. Ed, Rob, Dawn, Michele and Nicole..May God Rest his soul!! He is probably boucing around on a beautiful cloud and protecting all of us and saying don’t cry I am peaceful and happy now. Just go on with your lives and know that I am with all of you!!!
I would say the lesson that we have heard before..is love and take care of our family and friends..WE NEVER KNOW FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT. Blessings love and light and happiness to all..sherri:):)

The LORD Is My Shepherd
23rd Psalm: John
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green 1 pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest 2 my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever

  1. Beautiful picture, dear Sherri!
Sadly I’ve been there too and I know exactly how it feels when somebody is suddenly gone – without any kind of advance notice. And you are so very right: treat every day like it could be your last, treat every person like it could be the last time you see him/her. Easier said than done. I know.
    But I do try 🙂
Have a very HAPPY weekend 🙂
